The Dome House Visitor Information:

Let us help you plan your trip to the beautiful Sunshine Coast to ensure your stay

is a memorable one.

Things to do:

A visit to Australia Zoo is always a great day out. As is Aussie World on the Bruce Highway.

How about a visit to the beautiful Blackall ranges, see Blackall Range map. And the townships of Maleny and Montville are really worth a visit. While you are there how about a walk to Kondalilla Falls and Mapleton Falls National Park. Here are the maps for your information. Kondalilla and Mapleton Falls National Parks map.

If you love great walks what about the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk or the Kenilworth Forest reserve with a trip to Kenilworth cheese factory for lunch.

If you love the sea more than the bush then a visit to Underwater World is a must. Another option is a trip down the Maroochy River or the Noosa River. A ride on the Noosa Ferry is a great way to get into Hastings Street. If you feel like going further a field then a visit to Fraser Island, Great Sandy National Park or the Noosa Everglades is a great day out.

If shopping is something that you have in mind, there are of course the famous Eumundi Markets, the Noosa Farmers Markets and Sunshine Plaza Maroochydore, where you find a great range of specialty shops. Not to mention the beautiful Noosa, with its great shops and great food. What about and a fabulous walk through the Noosa National Park to finish the day.

You may wish to just visit our lovely local Coolum Beach and explore all that it has to offer. For all the surfers and beach lovers check out the surf Tubeseek or Coastal watch , for the best waves and beach conditions. Before your trip get a weather update from the Bureau of Meteorology.

For the avid golfer there is a great selection of courses to choose from. Nearby, Mt Coolum Golf Club. is an 18 hole championship golf course. It is possibly one of the most picturesque and popular courses on the coast with spectacular Mt Coolum as the backdrop. Hyatt Regency Championship Golf Course is just a balls throw from The Dome House. Pelican Waters is another great golf course as is Noosa Springs.

For those non-golfers how about some spa therapy. Try the Hyatt Day Spa for a fabulous day of pampering and indulgence. Studio Suave in Coolum Beach also have a great selection of spa and pamper packages for everyone.

A visit to Coolum is also a great time to check out some of the great restaurants. A favorite at The Dome House is The Spirit House. Participation in a cooking workshop or a meal at the restaurant is a must when on the Coast.

Other more local eating options at Coolum that we recommend are Bistro Seagrass A 10% discount is given for Dome House guests.

For lovers of good seafood Famous Phippsy has opened a new restaurant, Phippsy’s Catch in Coolum. Bathers is also another very good seafood restaurant in Coolum village. For a comprehensive list of all Coolum has to offer in good restaurants please use this
